Laura is a Consultant Speech and Language Therapist who graduated from University College London in 2010. Before joining London Speech Therapy, Laura worked within the NHS for 11 years; supporting children across mainstream schools, early years clinics, nurseries and specialist Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties primary and secondary settings.

Laura currently works in mainstream primary schools and with private clients in London and in Kent. She works with children and young people with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. As part of her role Laura works on developing what we offer to schools, supporting the team working within those settings and ensuring we are staying up to date on best practice and therapy approaches.

Laura is passionate about supporting children to reach their potential and ensure their wellbeing, She offers a holistic, child led approach, through working with the child’s interests and supporting their families and carers / school staff.

Laura is trained in Attention Autism, PECS, Word Aware, Colourful Semantics and is an Elklan tutor. She has attended training that includes understanding Gestalt Language Processors, Parent Child Interaction (PCI), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Stammering and Selective Mutism. Outside of work, Laura loves to bake, explore the outdoors and spend time with her family and friends!
