Kayleigh is a Speech and Language Therapist who graduated from Leeds Beckett University with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy in 2020. She has four years of experience working within the NHS and has been part of London Speech Therapy since 2024.

Kayleigh has experience working with a wide range of children and young people across both mainstream and specialist settings, including: Nurseries, Primary schools, Secondary schools, and Colleges. She provides assessment and support for a variety of speech, language, and communication needs, including Selective Mutism, speech sound difficulties and disorders, Autism (ASD) and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).

Kayleigh has a particular interest in supporting children and young people with Developmental Language Disorder and social communication differences. She is especially passionate about working with neurodivergent students, with a focus on preparation for adulthood and embedding neuro-affirming approaches within the environments they access.

She has received training in, and has experience delivering, a range of evidence-based interventions and approaches. This includes: Makaton, Attention Autism, Colourful Semantics, Word Aware, Zones of Regulation, supporting sensory processing and social, emotional, and mental health needs in adolescence.
