Kandahke obtained her degree in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Essex in 2021.She spent three years within the NHS working across secondary schools and core assessment teams, supporting children and young people with diverse clinical needs. Since joining the London Speech Therapy (LST) team over a year ago, she has expanded her clinical reach to support early years, primary, and secondary settings, as well as private clients.

Kandahke specialises in delivering SaLT in Secondary Schools. She has a particular interest in empowering young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) to understand their diagnosis and build functional communication strategies. She has experience working with various client groups including those with Autism, social communication needs, speech sound disorders, and SEMH needs. She also maintains a specialist interest in dementia in young people and intergenerational community development.

Kandahke has completed a variety of training, including Makaton, the SHAPE CODING™ system, and sensory integration approaches. Her clinical work is further informed by her prior experience as an Assistant Practitioner supporting adults with dementia.

Outside of work, Kandahke enjoys running a community craft club, playing the saxophone and looking after her plants.
