Services of London Speech & Language Therapists
Initial Assessment
Assessment session(s) are approximately 60-90 minutes and include a
detailed case history, observations of your child's speech, language
and holistic development, formal/informal assessments and they take in to
account whether your child has hearing aids.
Therapy
Therapy sessions are approximately 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes feedback. These sessions can take place in the family home or in school/nursey or college. We offer one to one therapy in the areas of:
- Speech (phonology) delay/disorder.
- Language delay/disorder.
- Setting up or reviewing an Alternative or Augmentative Communication system (such as Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCAs), PECS, signing, communication books).
- Stammering (Parent Child Interaction, Lidcombe Therapy).
- Social communication skills.
Statementing and Tribunal Cases
We are experienced in
the assessment and written advice for submission as part of the
statutory assessment (1996 Education Act). Please contact us for more information.
Social Communication (Autism / Autistic Spectrum Disorders) Diagnostic Service

School screening services
Screening assessments for new children attending your school followed by recommendations ad therapy (where appropriate).

Charges
Our charges are competitive and reflect the specialist services that we provide:
- Screening assessment of expressive and receptive skills followed by a summary report @ £250.
- Comprehensive assessment of expressive and receptive skills followed
by a detailed report @ £650.
- Individual therapy sessions (45 mins + 15 mins feedback) @ up to £90.

To augment our services we advise all of our parents to contact their GP and enquire about a referral to their local Speech & Language Therapy service.
Video Profiling
To augment our Speech and Langauge Therapy sessions you have the choice to have videos of your therapy sessions recorded and uploaded onto the secure video hosting site www.VideoProfiling.co.uk. As parents you can watch therapy videos at home or allow access to other family members; nursery/school staff or professionals on a 'need to know basis'. The cost of this additional service is £6.99 per month for parents.
Unfortunately we are not running any groups at the moment. Please check back regularly as we are hoping to set-up groups during the Summer holiday.
One to One sessions can be arranged in the child's home where parent/sibling contributions are valued. We always offer regular opportunities for feedback and questions. 1:1 sessions cost £60-90 for 40 minutes.
