About London Speech & Language Therapists
London SLTS Ltd was founded by Chris Wade in early 2009.
Chris gained his first degree in BA (Hons) Linguistics at Lancaster
University and his second degree in BSc
(Hons) Clinical Language Sciences (Speech and Language Therapy) at Leeds Metropolitan
University.

All our therapists are fully qualified Speech and Language Therapists with a
HPC registration and are members of Royal College of Speech and Language
Therapists (RCSLT). London SLTS Ltd only works with therapists with 2 or more
years experience.

Chris Wade - Chris is a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist currently working for the NHS in London and a national charity in Cardiff. Whilst Chris has a breadth of experience he specialises in:
- The diagnosis of children & adolescents aged 5-19 with Autism/Asperger's Syndrome (as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team).
- The intervention (i.e. therapy and training others) of children aged 5-19 with Autism and Asperger's Syndrome; Down's Syndrome; Cerebral Palsy and speech/language delay/disorders.
- Chris is trained in Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Intensive Interaction, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), TEACCH, Paedatric and Adult Learning Disability Dysphagia, Sensory Behavioural Feeding, Interactive Storytelling (Lis 'n' Tell) and Alex Kelly Social Skills.

Amy - Amy is a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist and qualified Teacher. She is experienced in working with a 18 months to 19 years caseload. Amy is qualified to work with Parent-Child Interaction and Lidcombe Therapy to children who stammer. Amy specialises in supporting the communicatino needs of children with Autism. Amy is also qualified to deliver the 'It takes Two to talk' training package and the ELKLAN course for Early Years Practioners and has over ten years in training school staff.
Rebecca W- Rebecca is a Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist currently working for the NHS in London. Rebecca works with children & adolescents aged 0-19 in the areas of Autism; Global Developmental Delay; Cerebral Palsy and Down's Syndrome. Sam Lefever - Sam is a Specialist Independent Speech & Language Therapist working in both the NHS and Education in Essex.
